Hello everyone!
REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: We have a really exciting Winter/Spring coming our way. If you need a copy of our latest rehearsal schedule, you can access it by clicking here: Jan - May 2009 Choir Schedule
That will take you to a new page. After a short wait, you'll get a new link that says "Click here to Download this file" Once you click on that, you'll have the option to either Open or Save the file to your computer. That, of course, is totally your call.
RECORDINGS: Recordings of our church services are available on the internet by clicking on: CPUCC Service Recordings
It’s pretty self explanatory. Each service is its own folder. Each file in the folder is a track on the CD. You can stream it by selecting “play” and / or download the file(s) if you want.
REMINDER: Women's Sunday is this Sunday! The service is at 10:15am. If you are singing with the CPUCC Women's Choir, please meet in the Choir Room at 9:45am to warm-up. Consider wearing a red, black or white top & dark bottoms. We will not be wearing robes.
See you Sunday!
Jess

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!
HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CHOIR!!!!!!
I miss all of you SO much & can't wait to start this FANTASTIC season ahead! It truly IS my most wonderful; time of the year. But first, there's some announcements to make:
WE ARE... We shall no longer be called the Senior Choir and - since I haven't come up with anything better yet - we shall be called simply The Choir. I know it's not too exciting, but it'll do for now. If you come up with a better idea, please pass it on to me :^)
ALL AGES: People seemed to have forgotten this (including me), but The Choir is open to everyone from 7th grade & up. I recently reminded the youth of this and we are fortunate to have Rachel & Tom Washic on board this year! Woohoo!
I BET YOU WERE WONDERING... So what is the situation with our Director of Music Ministries??? Well, we have hired a WONDERFUL candidate, who will begin on September 9. In the meantime, we have been lucky enough to steal Ellen again as our accompanist!!! Tons of thanks, Ellen! We love you!
SUMMER NIGHTS: Those of you who were able to attend the Mt. Gretna Mass Choir this year with Pepper Choplin all had a great experience & we look forward to hearing about it at our first rehearsal. Many, many, many thanks to Pat for arranging everything!!!
LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED! Another season, y'all!!! This one will begin on Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 PM. Our first Sunday to sing will be on Rally Day (9/7/2008).
See you soon!!!

Seasons of Love... How Appropriate!!!
Hello all!
Well, we've finally got some of the details down for the 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, June 1 at Shoop's. Unfortunately, we're still somewhat unsure of the exact location, but here's how we resolve that for all of you:
ARRIVAL LOCATION: St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 4200 Londonderry Road in Harrisburg - next to Osteopathic Hospital. Their website (www.stmarksharrisburg.org) has a map, if you need it.
ARRIVAL TIME: Be in St. Mark's & ready to sing Seasons of Love by 10:15 a.m. We will be rehearsing with members from the St. Mark's choir.
THEN WHAT? We suspect parking will be at a premium, so we will car pool to Shoop's, which is very close to St. Mark's.
WHAT TO WEAR: We will not wear robes & have no color scheme. We just want you to be comfortable & look nice.
IS IT MEMORIZED? Hey, if you can have it memorized, pleeeeeease do so! I don't think anyone from St. Mark's will have it memorized, so we'll need all of the clapping we can from our group.
WHAT TO BRING: I'll bring all of the music & folders from the Choir Room, just to be safe, so you should just need to bring yourself & maybe a bottle of water.
WHAT IF IT RAINS? If it rains, the service will be held at CPUCC. I don't yet know when they'll make the call, but I'll let you know when I find out.
I'll keep you posted!!!
